The directions linked to below describe the procedure for setting up email once you have been given your address.
First Change Your Password
1. In a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox go to webmail.1and1.com.
Your log in ID is your email address, your password is password.2. Once the email interface has loaded, click on the Wrench Icon in the top right corner of the window.
3. Click on the Extras link on the left hand Folders menu, and wait for the page to reload.
4. Click the link for Password in the main content area, and choose a new password.
